Dear Minister McLean,

I strongly disagree with, and do not support the Dept. of Education keeping mask mandates in place beyond March 18th in our schools.

It makes no sense whatsoever to remove mask mandates in every other public setting but not allow students the choice of whether to continue wearing a mask all day long, day in, and day out.

Please show Yukon citizens the most recent science that proves this is a necessary measure for our children, and if that can’t be done, then I adamantly assert that this illogical mandate needs to be dropped immediately to reflect what the rest of the Territory is doing. Thank you for your time.
